The professional photographer, Derrick Story, is a busy man with a variety of activities. These include his weekly podcast and what he calls (with a smile) the 'virtual camera club', which includes a monthly competition. I've only entered once, when I heard that week’s brief and could not resist putting this forward.
The brief given was 'Any light but natural' and my mind went to this photograph I took of my daughter, sat on the staircase, playing with her iPad, which is the only source of light, and far from natural. The prize was a very nice one.
